This guide has information regarding the formatting and approval process for AUM Graduate Theses.

Welcome to the AUM Library


Use this guide as a starting point for completing your thesis.  The guide links to resources for finding information regarding the formatting and approval process for submitting your completed thesis to the AUM Library for inclusion in the digital repository and for obtaining a personal bound copy of your thesis.

If you need assistance, please visit the Dean's Office on the 2nd floor of the Library or the Archives & Special Collections Dept on the 8th floor, or click on the Ask a Librarian link in the AUM Library box at the left.

Thesis Guidelines & Forms

These forms are used to certify completion of the thesis format review process. Completed forms should be submitted via the Thesis Upload section on this page. If you have questions please contact the Archives & Special Collections Department at 334-244-3213 or email

Students completing their thesis requirements will upload their thesis and thesis clearance forms here. Please use the following naming format for your files. For your thesis use this format: Last name_thesis_year (example: Smith_thesis_2023) .  For your clearance forms use this format:  Last name_clearance  (ex: Smith_clearance)

If you would like a personal copy of your thesis you may contact each company listed below for details on printing and binding costs, as well as shipping options. Note: AUM and the AUM Library do not explicitly endorse any of the following companies.
